The Liquor Control Board of Ontario is a unique retailer who required a specialized transaction set. Not only that, but they wanted to run Linux at the POS while preserving their investment in older POS peripherals. These specialized client registers would be driven by Windows 2000 servers. The combination of technical challenges was daunting and few retail software providers would be up to the demands of this implementation, but Cornell-Mayo came through.
